A friend of mine recently did a campaign for clean drinking water. She along with her family raised over $5000 for their project which made clean safe drinking water available to over 250 people. When walking in my neighborhood this week I noticed 2 different seemingly "old school" water dispensers. It got me thinking about just how easy life is, that I don't even know just exactly where "my" water comes from. So with a little research I now know about the wells of Truckee. Now to look up water tables and the many questions that will bring up.
We are VERY lucky to have clean water... Lets not forget it!
